HARTFORD, CONN - Villanova freshman Devon Kane had a game-winning layup with one minute left in overtime to give the Wildcats a 52-50 overtime victory over Providence in the fourth game of the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Championship Presented by American Eagle Outfitters.

Kane finished with 13 points while sophomore teammate Laura Sweeney had a game high 21. It was the 18th overtime game in tournament history - the first overtime game in tournament history was also between Providence and Villanova on March 5, 1983.

The Friars were led by senior Mi-Khida Hankins with 15 points.
