Player of the Week
 
Sugar Rodgers, Georgetown, Jr., G (Suffolk, Va.)
In a victory against No. 7/7 Miami, Rodgers led the Hoyas with 24 points. She grabbed seven rebounds and went 7-of-8 from the free throw line. Rodgers made seven field goals, three of which were from 3-point range.
 
 
Freshman of the Week
 
Brianna Kiesel, Pittsburgh, Fr., G (Utica, N.Y.)
Kiesel led the Panthers to a 2-0 week at the Caribbean Classic in Cancun, Mexico. Kiesel averaged 19.5 points per game, 4.0 assists per game and 4.5 rebounds per game. She had 23 points, five assists and four rebounds against Indiana. Against Michigan State, Kiesel had 16 points, three assists and five rebounds. For the week, she shot .895 from the free throw line (17-of-19).
 
 
Honor Roll
 
Anna Martin, DePaul, Jr., G
Martin averaged 20.5 ppg in a 2-0 week for DePaul. She had 20 points and four assists at Illinois State and 21 points and three assists against Southern Illinois. In both games, she was 8-of-14.
 
 
Shoni Schimmel, Louisville, So., G
Schimmel had 14 points, five rebounds and eight assists to lead Louisville to a 75-71 win against Washington State on Dec. 19. She added four steals and went 6-of-6 from the free throw line.
 
 
Katherine Plouffe, Marquette, So., F
Plouffe averaged 18.5 ppg and 10.0 rpg in a 2-0 week for the Golden Eagles. She had 20 points, eight rebounds and four steals against South Dakota State, hitting 7-of-9. Against Vermont, Plouffe had 17 points, seven assists and 12 rebounds.
 
 
Rachel Barnes, Providence, Sr., G/F
Barnes had 13 points and a steal in the Friars’ loss to No. 19/23 Delaware. She added 17 points, two assists, and seven rebounds in a win against Clemson on Dec. 22.
 
 
Taylor Palmer, West Virginia, So., G
Palmer had 21 points, four rebounds and two steals in a win against Mount St. Mary’s. Palmer shot 7-of-14 from the field, making four 3-pointers and she hit 3-of-4 from the free throw line.
