Providence, R.I. – Single-session tickets for the 2012 BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Championship are on sale, Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. ET. The championship returns to Hartford, Conn. and the XL Center for the ninth-straight year Friday-Tuesday, March 2-6. The BIG EAST will again welcome all 16 teams to its women’s basketball championship in 2012, a battle for the conference’s automatic NCAA tournament bid.
The availability of single-session tickets coincides with the announcement of the seeds for the tournament, which were finalized Monday night with the conclusion of the regular season. Ticket packages to all 15 games of the championship may still be purchased at the reduced value of $99.00 each, which is discounted by nearly one half of the face value.

March 2 -Session 1 (Fri. afternoon doubleheader)............... $20

March 3 -Session 3 (Sat. afternoon doubleheader).............. $20

March 5 -Session 7 (Monday semifinal doubleheader)........ $30

Tickets can also be purchased at the XL Center ticket office beginning Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. The ticket office will open at 9 a.m. on March 2-4. The ticket office will open at noon on March 5-6. All ticket purchases are subject to additional convenience fees.
