Notre Dame advances to the semifinals for the third straight year.

DPU did not attempt a free throw for the first time since Feb. 27, 2008.

Fifth-year senior Devereaux Peters had 16 points and 12 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the year. Peters also shot an impressive 8-of-14 from the field (571). It was the 21st double-double of her career. She also tied her career-high with six blocks.

Notre Dame won its seventh game against DePaul in its last eight tries and has narrowed the margin in the all-time series, trailing by one at 19-18.

ND has won back-to-back games at the XL Center, beginning with a 72-59 win over Connecticut last Monday.

The Fighting Irish move to 14-6 (.700) all-time as the higher seed at the BIG EAST Championship.

The Fighting Irish outscored the Blue Demons in the paint, 38-18, and 23-4 on second chance opportunities.

DePaul moves to 6-6 all-time in the BIG EAST Championship.

The Irish will face West Virginia in the semifinals. WVU handed the Irish their only league loss during the regular-season, a 65-63 win by the Mountaineers on Feb. 12 in South Bend, Ind.
