Offensive Player of the Week

Marlee Paton, Loyola, So., M
Paton earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week honors after amassing 11 points, including six goals in a 2-0 week. The sophomore tied a career-high with five goals and six points in a 16-8 win over Cincinnati. Paton also recorded five points, with a career-best four assists in a 17-11 win over then-No. 6/6 Notre Dame. Paton leads the Greyhounds with 38 points on 23 goals and 15 assists this year.

Defensive Player of the Week
Ana Heneberry, Loyola, Sr., D
Heneberry was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week following a 2-0 week, including a 17-11 victory against then-No. 6/6 Notre Dame. In the win over the Irish, Heneberry held the league’s leading scorer Maggie Tamasitis (5.3 points per game) to just one goal. In addition, Heneberry scooped up two ground balls and caused a game-high three turnovers. The senior also helped hold Cincinnati to just eight goals in a 16-8 win. She totaled seven caused turnovers and four ground balls on the week.

Had eight goals in a 1-1 week; scored a career-high five goals in a 14-5 win over UConn.
Kelsi Bozel, Georgetown, Jr., M
Tallied eight points, including seven goals in a 2-0 week; scored four goals in a 17-11 win over American and three goals in a 21-11 win over UConn
Eleni Kozas, Louisville, Sr., M
Registered a career-high five points, including three goals in an 18-7 win over Cincinnati.
Alyssa Murray, Syracuse, So., A
Had five points, including four goals in a 10-6 win over Harvard at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. She leads SU with 36 points.
Margaret Smith, Notre Dame, So., M
Scored the gamewinner in a 13-12 overtime victory against Rutgers; tallied three goals, four caused turnovers, five ground balls and 10 draw controls in two games last week.
