Marquette dropped a heartbreaker to Butler in the first game of the EA Sports Maui Invitational as the Bulldogs sank a wild desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer to escape with a 72-71 win against the Golden Eagles. Marquette meets Mississippi State Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
Other neutral-site tournament action on Tuesday features DePaul against unbeaten Wichita State in the Cancun Challenge (7 p.m. ET, CBS Sports Network).
Cincinnati looks to remain unbeaten as the Bearcats host Campbell as part of the Global Sports Classic (7 p.m., BIG EAST Network). USF plays its third game in the USF Invitational when the Bulls take on Bradley at the Sun Dome (7:30 p.m.).
Villanova and Rutgers play traditional home games as the Wildcats host Columbia (7 p.m.), while the Scarlet Knights take on Boston University (7:30 p.m.). Both games will be carried on ESPN3.
