Another busy week in the BIG EAST begins Monday as Syracuse hosts Eastern Michigan at the Carrier Dome on ESPNU.
BIG EAST teams continue to fare well during the nonconference portion of the season. Entering Monday, BIG EAST teams are a combined 82-23 (.781), including a 59-5 mark in home games (.922). Sunday’s results saw the BIG EAST win six of its seven games. No. 17/16 Cincinnati sank Alabama on a buzzer-beater to provide the highlight, while Villanova scored a quality road win by knocking off Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn. Pittsburgh, Providence, Louisville and St. John’s all picked up wins at home.
