The BIG EAST weekend schedule starts with one game Friday night, Harvard at Connecticut.
Eleven conference squads are in action Saturday. Five can be considered local battles where the visiting team is arriving by bus. The day starts with Towson at Georgetown at noon ET. Wisconsin plays at Marquette (ESPN2) and Villanova takes a short trip to Penn (NBC Sports Network).
The MSG Holiday Festival features four New York-area teams, including two BIG EAST members. St. John’s meets Fordham and Rutgers squares off against Iona.
Cincinnati and Syracuse — the BIG EAST’s two remaining unbeaten teams — face Maryland-Eastern Shore and Monmouth, respectively, with both games available on the BIG EAST Network.
Four Saturday games can be seen on ESPN3 as Louisville hosts UMKC, Notre Dame entertains Brown and Pittsburgh hosts North Florida. The lone BIG EAST team to play on the road this weekend is Seton Hall, which visits Wake Forest.
BIG EAST teams were 3-0 Thursday after Cincinnati, Syracuse and Providence notched victories.
