A look at the BIG EAST standings reveals that the teams at the top of the conference are the ones that have been able to win on the road. While 14 of the league’s 15 teams have at least one road win, Louisville, Syracuse and Cincinnati have won multiple road games in league play and find themselves among the top five in the standings.
Cincinnati improved to 3-0 in BIG EAST road games with a 75-70 win at DePaul Tuesday night. St. John’s held serve at home as the Red Storm beat Notre Dame 67-63 at Madison Square Garden.

Pittsburgh heads to Villanova for a 7 p.m. tip on ESPNU with both teams looking to bounce back from weekend setbacks.
Seton Hall travels to Marquette for a 9 p.m. start on the BIG EAST Network. The Golden Eagles are off to a 3-0 start in BIG EAST play and have won five straight games overall.
