Rutgers and Syracuse share this week’s BIG EAST softball weekly awards as RU senior Mandy Craig was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week, while SU junior Jenna Caira earned BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week honors.
DePaul senior Becca Heteniak was selected as one of the 10 finalists for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award for college softball. This is the fourth year that the award recognizes a softball player for outstanding athletic, academic, leadership and community-service achievements. Connecticut senior first baseman/outfielder Amy Vaughan was selected as the BIG EAST Softball Player of the Week and USF sophomore Sara Nevins was named BIG EAST Softball Pitcher of the Week after the sixth week of action.
