USF dropped an 11-inning heartbreaker to Hofstra in game one of the NCAA Super Regional at the USF Softball Stadium in Tampa, Fla., losing 2-1.

The Bulls will host Hofstra for a three-game series, with the winner advancing to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City, Okla.

USF, Louisville, Notre Dame and Syracuse will all play on Sunday for a spot in the Super Regionals.

No. 15 Louisville, along with Notre Dame, Syracuse, USF and DePaul all won and will play in the winner’s bracket of the double-elimination tournaments on Saturday.
