Notre Dame men’s and women’s teams earned automatic bids.
Notre Dame captured its sixth-straight BIG EAST women’s tennis championship following a 4-1 win over USF on Sunday.
This will be the third straight year the teams have met for the league tournament title.
No. 2 seed Louisville picked up its third-straight BIG EAST Men’s Tennis Championship title today, while No. 1 seed Notre Dame secured its fifth consecutive BIG EAST Women’s Tennis Championship crown.

Frilling's teammate, Irish freshman Chrissie McGaffigan, was named women's Freshman of the Year, while Mike Lampa of St. John's earned the men's honor.
No. 1 seed Notre Dame won its 10th women's BIG EAST Tennis Championship title after defeating No. 3 seed DePaul 4-0. The Irish earned the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Championship and will be making their 15th consecutive appearance in the national tournament and 17th overall.
The top-seeded Cardinals bested the second seed Irish 4-0 to earn the program's second men's BIG EAST Tennis Championship title. Louisville earns the league's automatic berth into the 64-team NCAA Championship, marking its seventh NCAA invite.
