USF (50-13) will play LSU (39-24) in the 2012 Women’s College World Series at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 2 at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Okla. The game is a must win for the Bulls after USF lost to Oklahoma 5-1 in the opening game of the tournament on Thursday in the double-elimination championship.

The USF softball team has punched its ticket to the Women’s College World Series for the first time in program history. The Bulls beat Hofstra by a score of 2-1 in both games of the Super Regional double header on Saturday to become one of eight teams to play in the WCWS in Oklahoma City, Okla., on May 31 – June 6.
