Nine BIG EAST Cross Country teams were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as this season's men's and women's Division I Cross Country Regional Coaches and Athletes of the Year.

The Syracuse men and Villanova women won the BIG EAST Cross Country Championships at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course on Oct. 31.
