BIG EAST Rookie of the Year Brandon Allen netted the game-winning goal of the BIG EAST Men’s Soccer Championship semifinal between No. 2 seed Georgetown (17-2-1) and No. 4 seed Marquette (16-3-1) with 59 seconds remaining in the second overtime.

Five schools shared the 2012 BIG EAST men’s soccer postseason honors, as the awards and all-conference teams were announced the night before the 2012 BIG EAST Championship semifinals at PPL Park in Chester, Pa.

When this year’s championship was moved from Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ, there were few venues that could match up to its outstanding amenities, first-rate pitch and tremendous fan experience.

The 2012 BIG EAST Men’s Soccer Championship will take place on Nov. 9 and 11 at PPL Park in Chester, Pa., between four teams all coming from the Blue Division: Connecticut, Georgetown, Marquette and Notre Dame.
