Three league players earned First Team accolades, including BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year Logan McCraw.
The No. 4 seed Notre Dame upset No. 1 seed Georgetown 15-12 in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Women’s Lacrosse Championship.
Championship begins on May 5 at 5:30 p.m. ET at Georgetown’s Multi Sport Field.
No. 2 seed Syracuse will face No. 3 seed Loyola in the first semifinal on May 5 at approximately 5:30 p.m. ET. The Hoyas will host the tournament and face No. 4 seed Notre Dame at approximately 8:15 p.m. ET.
Georgetown has earned the No. 1 seed for the 2011 BIG EAST women’s lacrosse championship.
Georgetown sophomore Dina Jackson was tabbed BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week and Louisville freshman Monica Negron earned BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
