Cincinnati Director of Golf Janet Carl has been elected the Vice President of the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA).

Georgetown is headed to College Station, Texas, to compete at the Traditions Golf Club in the NCAA Regionals beginning on May 20.

University of Cincinnati junior golfers Bambee Dela Paz (Caloocan City, Philippines/Miriam College) and Jenny Linville (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) were named to the 2010 all-BIG EAST team, the conference announced Friday (April 30).

Just 10 days after Louisville and Georgetown took the women’s and men’s BIG EAST titles in Palm Harbor, Fla., the Cardinals and Hoyas added to their trophy cabinets.

Three teams will be represented at the 2010 NCAA Women’s Division I Golf Championship.
