Five administrators from the BIG EAST Conference have been appointed or reappointed to various NCAA committee posts that were announced today by the NCAA Division Administration Cabinet.

The BIG EAST Conference has announced dates and sites for its Olympic sport championships in the 2011-12 and 2012-13 academic years. The sites were awarded by the BIG EAST Championship and Competition Committee.

Sixteen student-athletes – one from each BIG EAST institution – have been awarded $2,000 scholarships as the winners of the 2010-11 American Eagle Outfitters BIG EAST Institutional Female Scholar-Athlete Awards. The selections were made by the conference’s Academic Affairs Committee
