When people hear of Connecticut, they usually think of "that state you drive through to get to New York or Boston." However to us Connecticans (yes I made that nickname up) Connecticut is more than a commuter state. It's UConn Country. Having no major professional sports teams in the Constitution State, (RIP Hartford Whalers), I have always had a passion for UConn Athletics and am beyond proud to be a Husky Alum.
