ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) --Matt Harmon kicked a late field goal in front of Naval Academy graduate and presidential candidate John McCain to give the Midshipmen a 23-21 win over winless Rutgers on Saturday.

McCain was there for the 50th reunion of the Class of 1958, and part of a record crowd of 37,821 that saw Harmon's third field goal sail through with 2 minutes, 6 seconds to play.

Eric Kettani rushed for a career-high 133 yards on 20 carries and scored on a 2-yard run as Navy (2-2) snapped a two-game losing streak. Rutgers opened the season with three straight losses for the first time since 1999.
