THE GAME
Syracuse and Maine met for the first time in 2009, when the Orange scored a 41-24 win at the Carrier Dome … Syracuse trailed 17-13 at halftime, but reeled off 28 straight points in the second half to win going away … RB Delone Carter ran for 72 yards and three touchdowns in last year’s meeting, while Maine QB Warren Smith threw for 305 yards and three TDs.
