Five BIG EAST volleyball teams will take to the court tonight, getting in their final nonconference tune-ups before league play begins on Friday, Sept. 24. Newly ranked No. 25 Cincinnati is in action at Morehead State at 7 p.m. The four other teams will all be at home, as DePaul hosts Northern Illinois, Georgetown welcomes UMBC and Seton Hall takes on Fordham. Pittsburgh puts its three-match winning streak on the line tonight as the Panthers welcome in George Washington. Conference play kicks-off on Friday, Sept. 24 with five matches scheduled.
Men’s soccer has two games scheduled this evening beginning with DePaul hosting Drake at 5 p.m. Providence is also in action as the Friars put their unbeaten record on the line at Northeastern at 6 p.m.
In field hockey action, Georgetown hosts Robert Morris today at noon as Georgetown looks to snap its two-game losing streak. The Hoyas hold a 4-3 mark this season and are 4-1 when playing at home.
