Dodd, who was chosen as BIG EAST Player of the Week, made his first career start in Rutgers’ BIG EAST opener against Connecticut and led Rutgers to a 27-24, come-from-behind win against the Huskies. He threw for 322 yards – the most by a BIG EAST player this season – and completed 18 of 29 passes with two touchdowns. Dodd engineered two scoring drives in the final four minutes to bring the Scarlet Knights back from a 24-17 fourth-quarter deficit.

 

Suter, named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week, was the catalyst of a Syracuse defense that limited USF to 219 yards of offense and had two interceptions and four sacks in the Orange’s 13-9 win in Tampa. Suter had a game-high eight tackles, including three tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble to help Syracuse to its first 4-1 start since 1999.

 

Te, the BIG EAST Special Teams Player of the Week, scored nine points and kicked two field goals, including a 34-yard attempt with 13 seconds left to cap Rutgers’ 27-24, come-from-behind win against Connecticut in the Scarlet Knights’ BIG EAST opener. Te also made a 28-yard field goal in the second quarter and moved into third place on Rutgers’ career field goals chart (39).

Brad Starks, WR, West Virginia — Had four receptions for 100 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-10 win against UNLV.
