St. John’s (4-1) won its third in a row with a 60-48 victory at Arkansas State. Junior forward Da’Shena Stevens recorded a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
Rutgers (2-2) topped North Carolina A&T 88-59 to earn its second straight win. Guard Khadijah Rushdan scored a career-high 26 points along with 10 rebounds.
USF (3-2) knocked off Auburn 67-49 at home behind a game-high 33 points from junior transfer Andrea Smith. Playing in her fifth game with the Bulls, Smith shot 12-of-22 from the field and 8-of-13 from the free throw line.
Providence (3-2) lost to Hofstra 80-76 despite having five players score in double figures.
