With No. 22/21 Marquette’s win at Seton Hall on Feb. 16, the Golden Eagles picked up their 20th win of the season. There are six BIG EAST teams that have hit the 20-win plateau, tied for the most of any conference with the ACC.
For the second-straight game, Pittsburgh came back from an 11-point deficit to win. Pitt rallied from 11 points down in a 70-66 win over USF on Saturday, Feb. 12. The 60-57 victory against visiting Providence on Feb. 15 was the second straight and the fourth in the past five games for the Panthers. Pittsburgh will host No. 21/20 West Virginia in a rematch of the Backyard Brawl on Feb. 19 at 2:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast on Comcast and WVPBS. The game will mark the Panthers’ “Pink the Petersen” event. Pittsburgh won the first match-up of the season 60-53 on Feb. 5 in Morgantown.
Two BIG EAST teams are undefeated at home this season: Connecticut and DePaul. The Huskies are 14-0 at home this season. After an 86-45 win against then-No. 14/12 Oklahoma on Monday, the Huskies picked up their 75th-straight win at home. The Blue Demons’ won their 17th-straight game at McGrath Arena on Tuesday night with a 66-62 victory

When No. 8/8 Notre Dame plays at No. 2/2 Connecticut on Saturday, it will be the 16th BIG EAST Top-25 match-up of the season. Number 17 will come on Sunday as No. 10/11 DePaul hosts No. 18/18 Georgetown.
MAYA MOORE MILESTONE
Connecticut senior Maya Moore totaled 2,796 points to move past Louisville’s Angel McCoughtry on the NCAA all-time scoring list, becoming the highest scoring player from the BIG EAST. Moore has 2,976 points in 142 career games. In an 86-45 win against then-No. 14/12 Oklahoma on Feb. 14, Moore had 27 points, seven assists, six steals and seven rebounds.
