Pittsburgh looks for its first win of the 2012 season after the Panthers fell 34-10 at Cincinnati last Thursday in the BIG EAST opener … Pitt opened the season with a 31-17 setback to Youngstown State … The Panthers look to avoid their first 0-3 start since the 2005 season … Despite the loss to Cincinnati, the Panthers received an encouraging performance from RB Ray Graham, who rushed for 103 yards on 19 carries against the Bearcats … Graham, who missed the last five games of the 2011 season with a knee injury, has rushed for 174 yards on 33 carries in two games this season, but is looking for his first touchdown of the year … QB Tino Sunseri has completed 43 of 67 passes for 517 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception … WR Mike Shanahan has team highs with 11 catches and 113 receiving yards, while WR Devin Street has nine receptions for 105 yards … The defensive leader has been LB Shane Gordon, who has a team-high 17 tackles with two tackles for loss and the Panthers’ lone sack of the season … All-BIG EAST S Jarred Holley has 16 tackles … P Matt Yoklic has averaged a solid 44.8 yards per punt and has pinned four of his nine punts inside the 20-yard line … The Panthers have not forced a turnover through two games.
