USF lost a battle of early unbeaten teams with a 23-13 setback to Rutgers last Thursday, leaving the Bulls at 2-1 on the year … USF opened with wins against Chattanooga (34-13) and at Nevada (32-31) … Since 2006, USF has gone 32-5 in nonconference games, but is 17-26 in BIG EAST games in that span … USF has lost seven turnovers through three games … .QB B.J.
