Louisville and Syracuse meet for the 11th time when the teams play Saturday … The Cardinals hold a 4-2 series lead and have won three straight against the Orange … The 1989 meeting, won by Syracuse, was played in Tokyo, Japan … The 2007 matchup, also won by the Orange, produced a BIG EAST-record 978 combined passing yards … Louisville won last year’s game 27-10 behind a pair of touchdown passes from QB Teddy Bridgewater.
