PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the 29th annual AVCA Division I All-America Teams for women's volleyball earlier today and six BIG EAST athletes were among the honorees. Notre Dame senior Serinity Phillips and Pittsburgh senior Meagan Dooley were named to the All-America Third Team. Four other athletes were All-America Honorable Mention selections: Louisville freshman Lola Arslanbekova and senior Lecia Brown, Cincinnati junior Stephanie Niemer and Pittsburgh senior Michelle Rossi.
